Here is our fourth "15th day of the month's theme",
so let me re-explain what this is about.

Every first day of the month, we'll give you a special theme.
You'll have 15 days to shoot it.
On the 15th of the month, we'll open the topic to post (it will be locked until then).
Then, you'll have until the last day of the month to post your picture(s) of the theme.

Themes can be really precise or quite vague. But they'll be in the mood of this group.
Feel free to be as creative (or not) as you want.

(Yes, you've got to know one thing right from the start : my sick brain never stops working. Just so you know.)

------------------------------------------------------

Rules :

- You'll be able to post here from the 15th to the last day of the month.
- The date the picture was taken posted must be written down.
- Pictures have to be in "medium" size.
- You can put up to 5 pictures maximum per post.
- You can't post 2 messages in a row.
- You can discuss and post "text only" messages related to posted pictures.
- You can't use already taken pictures, but have to shoot especially for the theme.

------------------------------------------------------

APRIL'S's theme is :
"the thing you HAVE to get rid of but CAN'T ..."

Let's see what you've still got !!!!

OK, I will begin then !

one of the things I have to get rid of

this is a gift and I just hate it
I find it hideous
I never see the girl who gave it to me anymore
so ...
I kind of think I could sell it
but it just stays here
like an ugly remorse

Why not bringing it into a cemetery, there might be someone who will like it and will like putting flowers inside..

One woman's trash is another's treasure. I actually like it. Maybe we should start bartering.

yep Gaïa, OK
what would you trade it for ?

and Kesk, this is a brilliant idea, it would look great in a cemetary !
I'll think about it
have to find the grave of someone I dislike :-)

Give it away

OK - I'll join you in giving something away...this reject from Biot...I thought it would make a cute astray or even something to hold papers on the table...no - I don't want it anymore...oh yeah and you can have the 0,01 € piece as well...(useless unless you have 1'000'000'000 of them...then I would keep them).

OK - so who wants it ???

CollardGreens: Oops !

I am suck a hoarder I never want to throw anything away in case it might be useful *one day*. I'll have a look around when I get home but I think the biggest thing must be my old iMac - the power supply blew up so it doesn't work but it will be a design classic one day so I refuse to bin it!

LBT - I had a special cupboard in my old house for things that need to be displayed when x visits!

ok. I found something :

My August 2004 Moscow Times which stays in my kitchen, suffers from water, and that I brought back from my first trip to Russia :

The Moscow Times - august 11, 2004

and more :
stuff from my ex-girlfriend she could not take with her the last time she had to leave (at that time we did not know we would break); I dont use them..

the reality is that i'd have to pile half of my house up to get the shot.....or at the very least have a whole album dedicated to it.... i'll put in a few

I got rid of most of my stuff a year ago, when I moved from France back to the States...

I took only things I need when I moved to FIN. So nothing to get rid off... Sorry! I could take some pics of boyfriend's stuff though! :p Only it's not up to me to get rid of them..

S. Kesk: welcome on board! :) It's nice and warm here at the moment. If you happen to come by Hämeenlinna - let me know! Is it your first time in FIN?

Last day !!!!!!
BellaGaia PRO 11 years ago
The mad rush to post on the last day..... I can't get rid of my albums... I've got some classics (mostly 70's & 80's, nothing really earlier because I was too young) If for nothing more than the cover art (which you can't see nearly as well on CD's. and Cassettes almost ruined the medium of album art.

the topic -- what can't you get rid of
