Roux (the dog I'm watching) and I headed down to Gas Works Park after work. He spent his time with his head down, sniffing as much grass, concrete and dirt as he could. I watched the other dogs, the kids with their skate boards, the kite flyer who couldn't get his kite in the air even though there was plenty of wind (maybe there was too much?) and caught sight of downtown across Union Bay. It was a beautiful (though cold) sight.

Roux wasn't feeling very patient with me last night and kept running to the front gate for his walk. He knew we were going on one since I had put on my running shoes and a coat. I was delayed because I kept running back into the house for something - poop bags, keys, phone!, etc. He was finally able to go on his walk though and it was made even better because we met up with his doggie friend, Zubin.
