@msspider66 & satrina* - I love the gummies too, but we didn't end up getting any. We decided to get candies that had a wrapper on them for the treat bags.

Matthew's Birthday is on Feb. 13, but we are having the party tomorrow, Sunday.

My favorite would be the one on the right but the one in the left looks good too.

Happy birthday to Mathew, that day my grandpa would be 94 if he were still with us

Happy Birthday Matthew
Mathews' birthday is February 13th. Today we had a party with his friends at the bowling alley. I like when the kids choose to have there parties here. So much less stress and no mess to clean up.
He had a Ninja Turtle cake that was made using 24 cupcakes.

@ ebilflindas -Thanks. The kids all really liked the sign. Everyone wanted a piece of the "sewer". When the parents arrived to pick up the kids the were all talking about how they ate some of the sewer.

@satrina* - Thank you and no I didn't bake it. My cupcakes look like the one in my Jan 16th photo. I wish I was that talented.

Today I went with my sons class to the Maple Sugar Bush. We got to see how maple syrup was made and taste some maple sugar candy. They went on a hay ride and saw some goats. The kids had a great time. It was very muddy and they were all covered in it by the time we went home.

A group of ladies for a local church make these eggs every year. Some of them are in their eighties and nineties. I am not sure how many years they have been selling them but, they have never raised the price. $2(CAN)
I tried to get one of each flavour bur, they were all out of chocolate :(
Mmmmmm

omg Marmite!! You don't know what to do with it?? Use it on sliced bread... it's pretty good! A marmite sandwich is the snack of champions LOL
A thin layer of butter or margarine and then a very thin layer of marmite... try it!
If not send it to me LOL .... I'll eat it!!

YIKES! Those look scary!

Don't feel bad about not posting--better that you take care of business in real life and miss a few days of the year here. I, on the other hand, might fail a class because I spend more time here than on homework... :-\

How's the boy like his skates? They look sharp! (Sorry, but I love puns!)

The Hardy Boys! I used to have a bunch of those! Are you old enough to remember the TV series?

I would've so totally bought that tin o' mints on sight! I recently bought a tin of "Last Supper" mints.

Guiness stew? Marmite? is that like Vegemite? I rarely hear good things about the stuff--but then again, it might be something I'd really like!
I said do you speak-a my language?
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich...
Simon-K 11 years ago
Ooh marmite!!! I have to agree with sunshine the stuffs gorgeous, I prefer it on toast. In the UK they've started selling Guiness Marmite, might be good for your stew :)

@sunshinecity- Thanks :), They have a lot of them. I could probably go back and get one and send it to you. ;)

@ebilflindas - yes you are right real life must come first.
-Matt loves his skates. My husband took him skating that night for the first time. When the got home Matthew was so proud of himself because he didn't fall once.
-Yes I remember the Hardy Boys series. I used to watch it every week with my dad. :)
-I am told that Marmite is similar to Vegemite, but that it has a stronger taste.

@SimonKimber - I heard about the Guiness Marmite. Have you tried it yet?

@ItinerArts - LOL! ;)
Simon-K 11 years ago
No I'm not a big fan of guiness so Im in no rush to try it
