This was a 24 hours ' day!
Yes, I know, like every day...but noooooooooo!
It's been a 6 episodes of the 24' serie 'day!!
So now people, don't you ever tell me what's happening in that serie if you don't want to have a new ennemy!
I'm waiting for next episode like a drug addict for his next fix...and I admit it: I like that!
So now I can tell I have 3 lusts: chocolate, sex AND 24!( Imean I always knew but now, you know too hehe)
Thinking of lust, is beeing a massage addict a lust ??(the one getting a massage of course, not the one giving it!)Because if it is, count 4 then!
:))

edit:
And the book is finished, I have an idea for the next one but it might be a bit expensive cause it's just been released...written by François Berléand...

(I had another pic for today but finally decided to go for a selfportrait)

That was a very "full" day ! At work I had a lot to deal with but there was some fun and exciting part in it so I'm ok with that .
Then I decided to go and see movies; so as usual, I went to Les Halles.
Some people in France hate that place.
I don't really know why...in fact it could be for a lot of different reasons: when they built this area (ok, rebuilt), architects thought they were building a really modern center.
But now, most of people find it mostly ugly...and lots of young people from the suburbs like to meet there to shop, eat, flirt, well everything!
And some of them can get violent.
that's why, I think, some people I know don't want to go there, even if one of the biggest cinema center of paris is here!
Well, so I saw 2 films: The Foutain
This one I thought og rushing to the door at nearly each minute, but I stayed a "nice person" ans stayed...and got bored!
Well I really don't understand how some people can find it really good but hey, we're all different...I found it too "poetical-dreamy-like" but the actors, well they're great and they did really well in that film, i'm not sure I could have!
Then I decided I couldn't stay on a bad impression so I decided to go and see another one, which was "The illusionnist" with Edward Norton.
That guy, I mean that actor is great. But in this film I was a bit disappointed.First that beard he's got in that film seemed so fake to me that I had difficulty to trust the actor. And the film, well...maybe it's because i'm not smart enough to understand it after seeing it just once but I have difficulties with the films you need to see several times to get to really understand them.
Except the Lynch's ones, because those ones....well...because!!:D
But in those two films I loved one thing for sure: the photography.
Isn't that strange?!lol
That's all for monday, hope you stayed (and enjoyed?) till the end! ;P

Seeking happiness

It's been a bad day. Well in terms of hours half of the day went ok, but the evening created hate and rage inside me.I won't explain the why but the thing is, it was a soooo huge emotion, the only thing I found to fight it was shut myself dow by sleeping.yep.13 hours straight. No meal, no flickr, nothing!Directly to bed!
And I think that was the best solution.I just hope I'll be able to get over those feelings, otherwise I won't cope with the consequences...Let's hope I'm better than I think, and that I won't bear grudges (hey, I learnt a new expression!) to that person too long...

edit: rethinking of it, I had a very nice moment, but couldn't make a photo out of it, but it was really appreciated though unexpected!

Tonight was movie night again, wow! 4 films in 3 days?!I like that!
So I saw Cashback, and even if it's not that similar to the book the story's taken from, I really liked it;the actors are good, even the kids and I loved their accents ! Yes I know, I'm a kind of weirdo sometimes hehe :D
The film , to me seems more aimed at people around 15-18, and the end is a bit "too nice" but I really enjoyed it, and it seemed like I wasn't the only one!
Then, some other weirdos joined me (what do you think flickr people are?!) and we saw "Pars vite et reviens tard" (yep, the one with José Garcia).
I usually like José Garcia in dramatic roles.
But here...
Well I think the director didn't do his job as good as he was supposed to.Or maybe he thinks actors don't need help to be their character if they are good actors...
Well (again!) he is wrong. And I repeat, it's my opinion.
But it's not only because of the actors that I didn't like the film (though there was that cute guy, wow, what a body!):
The music was bad (oh yeah, in Cashback I really liked it), and I'm not talking only about long musicals moments, but you know, when the director wants people to feel something at a very specific moment, anxiety, fear etc...And in this film it was used in moments (sorry if my english gets bad here, I'm trying to explain something...yeah, it's linked, absolutely!) where the director also used other tools to really "help" us to "feel " a certain way, and I hate that. It's like if he stopped the film and was yelling : hey, careful, that's the "important/comic/freaking/sad/anything" moment, do watch with attention!
On my way home , I also thought it'd be the type of scenario that is written in a theatrical way;sometimes the actors themselves didn't like like they would really use those words...maybe they didn't get enough time to work beforehead ?
Well I had a nice day / evening, if it wasn't those thoughts about that yesterday person!

In fact I'm an actress but it's been very hard finding paid jobs (I mean , outside of the porno industry!!) so for now I'm a switchboard operator, that brings me money, and leave me enough time to shoot.
It's beginning giving good contacts (I work in the fashion Industry) so who knows...maybe one day !
And as you know, it's much easier being behind than in front, or at least it is easier to make friends with a camera in the hands than alone, you just shoot them! :))

Tonight was a flickr@paris group meetup.
Why?
Because the administrator thought it'be an idea to celebrate the 1000 members.
Personnally I was happy seeing old faces (well... old, uh,... you know!)
and meeting new ones ( I can think of Fredarmitage and Camilopp)

Too bad I didn't take time to talk with some of those faces...anyway there's the monthly meet up next week, so maybe I'll catch up then .

My day was really good although very cold!!
Good not because I had good news, good because I could get a little proud of me at work.
It still is very important to me to do things the most perfectly ...I know, that's wrong and I'm working on it .

What about my hate since tuesday?
Well the feeling evolves but it is still very strong... I hate the idea of this person achieving her goals (and maybe mines) by hurting me. Is that the way it could be? well maybe I'll be able to answer at the end of the year!

Saturday, 27th January

Canal de l'Ourcq

I am in a period where my week ends could be represented by a bathtub (yeah, LBT, I see you coming!) in which I swim, and where the nice and hot water is replaced by hours and hours of sleep!

So, each Friday night, I dive into my bathtub and I swim endlessly.
Usually, I get tired of swimming around mid day on saturday and then, well...it depends!

As this saturday was sunny, I decided to go for a walk in my neighbourhood. As the years pass, it gets better and better.
For people who don't know really well Paris, I live in the North-east of Paris, near a nice park called "Le parc des Buttes Chaumont".

During the first years, I never put a foot in that park (it's only at 200 meters from my home!!)...and one day I decided it was stupid.
But, if you begin to know me, you'll know this is not where I went today!
In reality, in my neighbourhood, I have many different places: that park, a huge concert hall called "Le Zénith", a huge park called "La Villette" and a canal.

So I walked the long of this canal, like a lot of people I must say!
And there I was with my camera of course!
There was this guy with a small camera.
He saw me.
But he didn't realize I noticed him too!
So I was acting like I was taking those pics and he was doing...well, the same!
At a point, I decided it wasn't funny anymore and anayway the sun was about to set so I went into a bio-shop nearby and nosed around, searching for something at less than 5 € ...and I came up with a delicious veggie bolognese sauce (made with sheitan)!
That night was a tv night.

>>taken in Les Halles station...

Finally, I decided I neaded to see someone this w-e.
So in the afternoon I went to the cinema with a friend, to see "Little Children".
I thought the actors were good but it looks like the director didn't want to make any choice in his movie. And I'm not fond of that kind of films.
Too bad....cause the trailer looked really good!
And then, for dinner, surprisingly, it was pasta "veggie-bolognese" !
Too bad I didn't take a photo of it ! :D

Full day !

Work ... and running to get in time to see "A la recherche du bonheur" (the movie with Will Smith and his son)
Well I missed the 3 first minutes but this movie touched me.
More than I thought in the beginning.
I loved the acting, the story is based on a true one, directing was good and music: really good choices. But what helped the most was really good dialogs!

So after that, out from les Halles, heading to Chatelet and on my way I pass this church and foutains... I hope the non-french flickrists will enjoy ;-)
That was to go to Bastille for the monthly flickr@paris meetup.
Not that many people, too much smoke, but it was nice seeing again new faces from Flickr and elsewhere.
I hope next time I'll meet up with flickr people in a non smoking place, wether it's in the flickr@paris meetups (that I don't think'll happen) or not.
And here I am, back to my cats and computer...might go for chocolate...Lindt 70% !

I am really annoyed.
First, yesterday a crazy woman in the street (a kinda fortune teller gipsy woman) called me "cock sucker" (in french) because I refused to fall victim to her ! If I was allowed to kill, I swear I would have!!!

And today, like almost every day, a guy says hello to me by kissing me.
And I don't really like to.AND: I have this smell problem and because of this, to me that guy stinks!!!
It's awful, every day I dread this moment, and I pray to be on the phone when he comes...
What would you do ?

Love the flying cat!
Laugh at a gypsy who calls you a cocksucker because that means you one! That is pretty high compliment.
Just tell him straight that even though it is the custom here to kiss for a greeting that you do not do that. When he asks why or tries to argue just repeat the phrase. I don't do kiss greetings. It is called the broken record technique because you just repeat one phrase until they give up. (It refers back to old days when we called LP's records and if they got a scratch they would skip and keep playing the same sound). Just keep it light and shrug the shoulders. Make it not about him. Should work.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
So here I'm back, and this time I have a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge need to kill some people!!!
I'm too annoyed to even explain, and even if I explained, it would'nt make sense to any of you .
I'm a mean person, cause I really think that if I could kill those 2 or 3 people, I'd feel a great relief! And for the first time, I'm not feeling even guilty to have those ideas!
So yes, I'm mean and I'm weird.
And to explain what I'd do, i'm gonna continue in french cause that's too difficult to type and think fast enough in english.
Ouais.
Ca me paraît bien.
Libératoire en tous cas!

Spectacle / Vie réelle

Went out to join flickr friends to take photos of a "manifestation" against death penalty, I arrived late so I didn't take many photos.
Very cold day, very windy.

Jazz in black and white

Meet Jazz
She's like me, never fed up with cuddles, but she leaves hair everywhere, and her hair is black AND white underneath!
So, wherever it falls, you can see it !
Had nothing I wanted to shoot yesterday...I tried though...well I guess it can't work everyday for me, but today I felt maybe somebody here was reading my diary and was thinking "where the hell is she gone and what the fuck is she doing ?!?"
Well I'm still here, searching for something particular:
what makes people want to meet, I mean, when you don't miss lets say your friends, and you see them, what's the fundamental reason?
Somebody asked it to me and I'm still searching...

That jumping cat photo is so hilarious!

That's an interesting question about wanting to meet people when you don't miss them. I don't know if there's just one single fundamental reason, though. I think we are social by nature, and even if we don't miss a familiar friend, we still tend to find comfort in being near them...I think we are drawn to companionship.

Wow, I'll have to think more about that question too!

And do you understand why is that?
Somebody told me that an experiment had been made once, by an emperor: he tried to raise kids without talking to them or caring another way than feeding them.
And guess what happened? They died.
Strange isn't it ,

I actually read a book called " A General Theaory of Love"
www.amazon.com/General-Theory-Love-Thomas-Lewis/dp/037570...
and then gave a lecture on it. Our limbic brain sets our bodies rhythms by being around other people's brains and bodies. We actually synch up to each other and it keeps the bodies and brains running more smoothly.
It was a great book. It explained so many things about my reactions.

7th January

So here it goes:

Cannibalism

Hehe, I can hear you scream "WHY????"
:D
Well, I saw a good film.
A good film (or I could say great) is a film that makes you think and feel during the film, AND AFTER.
It's been the case here, with Hannibal
It's not about perfection, some scenes made me laugh (when I'm not sure it was supposed to) but during most of the film I was thinking "that's fucking good, I like it!"
And I even thought of that french tv commercial we have for a car (can't remember the brand but WTF!) where the voice helping the driver to find the way is really happy because now the car can drive really fast, straight forward, saying "that's good, hum...I like it, again...etc etc ...
That voice, it was me during the film! :D
Well, I won't tell more because I know I'm one of the firsts to have seen it ...

edit: so here I'm back after light cannibalism: I tried to eat kiwis and I almost ate a finger with it, don't know how to use a knife correctly...
So, out from the cinema, I was thinking that I should make a list tonight of the things I know I'm capable of, for the bad days, where I think I'm not better than shit.
Sooooo:

-I'm sensitive (yep, sometimes it's a quality)
-oh here it goes, can't find....
-I have an A level, in the scientific branch
-I can speak fluent english
-I know how to bake good chocolate things
-I know how to do nice massages (but I'm picky about who I'm doing them to)
-I can make good portraits
-I have an eye...but not always...but still, I have it, just need to open it wide!
-I can laugh about myself (but mostly when I decided to, I know)
-I can swim, bike, dance, belly dance
-I can do 7 hours phone calls (but I try not to, my shrink says that's not good!lol)
-Even if some people think the contrary, I can be smart, (cunning says my dictionnary)

Well I don't find more...

I know that when I have "downs" I don't think any of this but at least it's a try.(oh, well, for the chocolate part, I allways think it hehe)

Again , about Hannibal, I love the actor, I won't tell much (go see it!) but I'd love him to pose for me!

OH!!!
Flickr friends, didn't I tell you? I'd love some of you posing for me, but mostly people ok with posing (and ok with nude posing could be an idea too but not obliged at all, I love portraits) and who already have ideas cause I never "directed" any model so I'm a bit afraid to be like the writer in front of the white page...

edit 2: Oh, and I almost forgot: I was thinking I love going to the cinema alone, cause I love the dreamy moments I have after, swimming in my thoughts, nobody to ask all the time "what did you think of it?" or to say it sucks when I loved it , I NEED that moment just after, for ME.
Should I live in a cave, like a bear ?

Glow* says:

Oh, and I forgot that one : I'm gonna start a beard project.
Yes.
Beards.Hair.
The idea is like, a book, with nice portraits of men who have a beard and their answer to the question "Why?" (why the beard of course).
So I need models for that. But only real beard men, not just because I want some you make yours grow ok ?
ages ago (permalink)

view photostream

hervcha says:

~ Phil Moore says:

Firstly, it made me chuckle that the Idon'tknowthenameinenglish was shortly followed by the thenameinenglish - it's called a "period".

Going to the cinema alone is good. I used to be really scared, I think I worried too much what people would think of a 'loner' sitting in the cinema by himself, or be embarrassed if I bumped into some people I know. But now I love it! Kind of like a sort of coming of age thing perhaps, becoming more confident in myself...

I don't have a real beard, but it's growing a little, should you be short of people... Never been a 'model' before, but there's a first time for everything!
