Pink seems the right colour for you, as long as you wear matching lipstick. Regarding your size, you remember what they say? "Dynamite comes in small packages"!

Dragonhide 11 years ago
You can use an ipod for something other than music??
sunshinecity Posted 11 years ago. Edited by sunshinecity (member) 11 years ago
oh yes... it can contain a whole lot more than music. It can display videos, photos, it has a calendar, you can store files on it... it's pretty awesome... (the bigger ones, not on the shuffle).
And yeah, btw, scooters are awesome!

I'm loving it so far s,B

Yeah many people say that to me... I think they just assume it, like it's a given. I'm short, but I don't really ever notice it, unless I see pics of me next to a taller person LOL

oh I'm definitely explosive!
= P

I agree!!

Depends whole much you're in to music and enjoy making your own playlists...

Yeah, audio books are cool! thanks for stopping by!

May 13th 2007 ~ day 132

Today was a really gorgeous warm sunny day. The arm was warm, the sun felt good on the skin.
I drove out to visit my dad at the clinic during lunchtime and the streets were dead... everyone's already starting to go to the beach. Sundays in the city start getting dead in the summer time... the beach is only an hr away from the city, so it's everyone's favourite escape destination to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

On the way home I stopped off at the Gianicolo Hill. It's very close to my house and is on the way home.
There is so much to take in., So much to see. The view of the city is just spectacular! I've lined in Rome for 13 years now and lived here another 4 when i was in middle school, and the view from up here still leaves me speechless. There truly isn't anything like Rome. Honest.
With all the good and bad this country has, once you've seen Rome it will leave a special mark in your heart.

colonnato ~ columns | il Vittoriano

As I've mentioned before, I work for a very large Lottery company. It often sponsors various cultural events, one of these being the art exhibit of Marc Chagall's work.
As employees of this large company we often get to benefit from some perks, such as free tickets to art exhibits or free tickets to basketball games.
Tonight my friends and I went to see the guided tour and had a complimentary buffet on the roof terrace of the Vittoriano!

Not only was the guided tour wonderful (you get to see interesting works of art explained to you. You get to learn about all the reasoning and mental state of the artist, his life) but the wonderful buffet that followed was just exquisite! I felt like royalty. We had the place to ourselves. The view from the roof terrace was to die for and the waiters bringing silver platters back and forth were the added magical touch in such a beautiful surrounding!

Please take time to see the outtakes!!

I really like your photos of Rome. Makes me want to go back there to visit for a few days.
I had an uncle that would regularly disappear (right in the middle of the day, unplanned) and come back a day, three or a week later. He'd gone to Rome without telling anybody...
He was a good example. I should really follow.
sunshinecity 11 years ago
And to think Ali, it's only 10 mins away from where I live!

LOL @ "new world"... yeah rightfully so... it's funny when I think about how much America has achieved in just over 200 years, while here some countries are still struggling for democracy and freedom!
I'm glad you like my hometown!

Awww, that's such a cool way to live, given you have the financial means and free time on your hands.
Come visit!

I long for the younger days when I had little responsibility and lots of time and means to travel.

I still travel, but not nearly as much as I did when I was younger, and got *free* airline tickets due to my Dad who is now a retired commercial airline pilot.

That was fun while it lasted... :)

I would have loved that tour you went on sunshine... sounds like great times!

I tried to do some shopping today, but came home empty handed. As good as that sounds for my wallet, it's not so good for me, as I wasn't able to find what I was looking for... oh well.
At least I was able to take my mind off my shopping failures later that night.
I went to dinner at a friend's. There was a big group of us.. laughs were had, food was eaten, wine was drank.... we ended up playing truth or dare.... yeah, that's so high school, I know. But it's still fun to see your friends light up with embarrassment!

points ~ punte

It took me forever to decide which picture to post today! I am happy to say I was spoiled for choice!
Just like last time I went on a Flickr Meet, this Sunday too was ROMAMOR's monthly outing!

There was a group of about 40 of us, it was great!
We went to visit the Valvisciolo Abbey, near Norba and the Ninfa Gardens, which dates back to the 1100's... I think! (I was too busy taking photographs to pay attention to the tour guide!!).

Not only did we have a great time, we were blessed with great weather and wonderful company. I was able to learn a lot from my fellow flickrites and I am pretty pleased with my work!

For those of you with a very analytical eye, you'll notice some change in photos.... this is because I started off the day shooting with my compact Canon IXUS 60 (also known in the USA as Canon PowerShot) but then my battery died, and although I had a spare battery with me, I later realized that the spare had not been charged after it's last use... so alas I was cameraless... but my dear friend Peng was kind enough to lend me his Canon EOS 20D, a wonderful DSLR!!! (Not to mention the great selection of lenses he owns.... needless to say, I was drooling!)

I am still busy uploading, renaming, tagging and adding the photos to various groups. I am determined to get at least of these in to explore!!!
Care to help me?? You can start off by clicking on the photo above and adding a comment, if you like it. (Yeah, I know that's really sleazy whoring LOL but I only ask if you truly like the shot...).

Be sure to check out my set and come back in a few days, once I've added more.
