Here's the link to my set: "A Day in a Roll, March 24, 2012" using Kodak BW400CN film:

Two of the photos weren't scanned to CD.

1) A Classic Car Cruise-In (Cokin polarizer and yellow filter)
2) Storm Cloud photos (Cokin polarizer and red filter)

2012 is the year that I use B&W film exclusively. C-41 B&W films are my "goto" film for ease of developing. I have to send traditional B&W film to North Carolina for developing.

Roll in a day, day in a roll. 3-24-12
I must say that I really enjoyed that. It forced me outside of my box a bit to come up with even just 24 photos in one day, especially since I had to work. Half of my photos i think are crap, but I also think I got some good ones. I can't wait until the next shoot.

Here's mine. It was a lovely sunny day, but I managed to stay indoors for most of it! The light in my flat isn't very good, hence quite a few blurry duds. I travelled from my flat to my parents in the evening, so they are split between Manchester and Newcastle-Under-Lyme. I used
expired Agfa.

I'm trying to go through everybody's and at least leave you a comment, sorry if I've missed you! If you're feeling really neglected feel free to drop me an fmail, I really do want to see all that you've done!

Hi, I read about it on the Flickr blog, and as I knew I would be in Rome for the weekend, I thought it would be a great opportunity to shoot a day of film. :)
Kilgore Trout (leicamaster.) [deleted] 5 years ago
Well I got my roll back and only six pictures came out. I have to scan them tomorrow at school. The back on the Hasselblad is messed up but I just sent it back to Adorama today and I should be getting a new one soon.
Spotmatix 5 years ago
Here's mine. I really enjoyed it, but I'm still waiting to get from the lab the "real" roll I had scheduled to shoot in my Canon SLR. This is from another camera I had with me, I was trying it for the first time as I bought it that same day first thing in the morning :-)

Many turned out better than I would have thought.

Here's mine!

I had a great time doing this project although it was hard not to finish the whole roll in just one activity of the day. I love most of the shots but i did have a few blurry ones that i took from a moving car.
I'll geotag a few so it shows up in the map.

I developed my film on Saturday but just finished scanning and uploading.
So my camera didn't cooperate much (I was already expecting that this could happen). But it was fun after all.

So, finally managed to scan my roll. Here it is:

Tried an expired Ilford fp4+, i think i failed a little bit with the development time, but eh, it was a fun day in a roll (even though it was a short roll) :)

Well, what do you know....not only can you still get C41 processed in Cairns, they have so much business that they are actually installing a new machine.

They also sell film in the supermarket, great news I thought.

Here's my day in a roll. Started shooting when I got up in the morning. Spent the day driving 700 km across mid western Queensland and took 27 photos fairly evenly spaced throughout the day.

That's crazy, and not fair! :( We have ours being taken away all the time, limiting us to more expensive yet professional labs.

Good for you though. :-)

I just received my two rolls and still have to scan the second roll. Unfortunately the lab scanned only this lot, so will have to scan the other roll myself. I'll do that eventually. Will upload only some images of each roll though and leave the duds on the contact sheet. :-)

I don't keep a diary because I am too lazy. This project will become my diary now. I stuck all my 'better' shots into an album with a description of what I did during that particular day, and may enlarge the odd one to A4 size, also keeping it in an 'Roll in a day' album.

The Roll in a day / A day in a roll project was a splendid idea jnicholls357! :-)
litrato101 [deleted] 5 years ago
I used two cameras for this roll. My Olympus OM2 zapped the life out of its batteries after only 5 shots! I didn't have extra batteries in the office but I had my Gakkenflex in one of the drawers so I transferred the roll. I hope there's no rule against that :-)

The day started out really well and ended is rain just right about after lunch. It's good I only loaded a 12 shot roll.

This has been fun :-)

First time I bought a one-way ticket which feels a bit weird, coming back when I come back. Have to come back, because I want to drive across the Nullarbor from Sydney to Perth at least one more time at some stage or another. A great drive!
