'Rebranding' the group.
We have made some changes to rule 5 and 9 to allow one roll to be shot on any day of the month. What remains is that the contact sheet or a link to the RAD album has to be uploaded to the respective monthly thread and selected photos to the group pool. Contact sheet and link will still have to be tagged RAD2015monthday. Anything not tagged RAD2015monthdayor random uploads, including digital images, will be deleted without notice.

RAD – A roll in a day / a day in a roll
A window into your world.

If you are running out of ideas on what to shoot, or need some inspiration, why not join us?

This group is a FILM ONLY group
and is open to anyone, from beginners to advanced photographers, who share a love of film photography and who are prepared to shoot a whole roll of film* (or more than one roll) in one day and share the result here. The condition is that the whole roll must be shot on the same day, marked RADMonthDay in the title and tags list, and the contact sheet** showing all shots, with link to your photostream be uploaded in the respective topic (# RAD 2014 month - Photos). Up to six shots per week may be uploaded to the group pool.

The subject can be a personal choice; a record of your day or, as a challenge, the theme of the month can be chosen. Many members seem to prefer to choose the theme of the month. And, if you like, a description of the ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘where’ can be added in the description of the set.

Q: Why join this group?
A: The main reason may be to share your day photographically from your part of the world, in a small group. Seeing others’ interpretation of the theme chosen for a particular month is also inspiring. Apart from that, shooting film keeps film photography alive and is enjoyable.

Q: Will you get more exposure to your photos and photostream?
A: Not sure, and not sure how reliable the statistics are. Sometimes it appears so.

Q: Is Lomography acceptable?
A: Yes, and it is fun too.

Q: Is pinhole acceptable?
A: Yes, anything done on film is acceptable.

Hope you enjoy being part of this group.
