HOLY POOP! It's a leap year! change everything to 366 bites!

If you're anything like me, food is celebration, it's sadness, it's the marker of life's milestones and the mundane. I wanted to habitually participate in my one pure joy, photography, around the stuff that keeps us going: FOOD. And I wanted to do it with other food and photo loving fools.

The rules are simple:
1 photo, every day, of your first bite (of ANY meal or snack)
No backlogging, people - the photo must be from that day and posted that day in order to count (and really, you're only lying to yourself if you cheat!)
use these tags on your photo: 366 bites, bite me
If you are on twitter and tweet your posts, use the hashtag #366bites

Because half the day is over (on the east coast anyway), let's bend the rules for days 1 and 2 - where you can post 1/1 and 1/2's photos on 1/2 if this wasn't enough lead time to get your juices flowing :)

Join me, let's share a meal or two together. I would love it if, when the meal is significant, you include a little background with your image. I love life's little food stories.

Fairly obvious rules: Be a good human. Photography is very personal, and really there is no reason to say anything disparaging about someone else's photo. Have fun, be nice.
