Flowers! Share with us your most beautiful flower photographs!

Any type of flower is welcome: wildflowers, weed flowers, clover flowers, roses, daisies, birds of paradise, magnolia blossoms...if it's a flower, we want it, including flowering trees and shrubs -- which must be in flower! But please...read the simple rules!

And for those photographers who are also gardeners we'd love to have your feedback in the Discussion section about your 2013 gardening plans!

Group Description

WELCOME to Flowers, Glorious Flowers!

Here is the home for all of your wonderful flower photos!

There are only a few logical restrictions:

1. Only photos of real, live flowers will be accepted. Please don't post artificial flowers! And do not post dead or dying flowers!

2. Do not post non-flower related photos such as landscapes, portraits, trucks, boats, etc. Obvious?? Yes, but I have had to delete these types of photos from the group!

3. Do not post grasses, leaves, non-flowering trees, etc.

4. Please don't post dead or severely withered flowers! Only beautiful, live, natural flowers.

5. Do not post flower paintings or drawings; only flower photographs, please.

6. Do not post photos of objects that have been decorated with flowers, or on which flowers have been drawn, stenciled, etc.

7. Please don’t post abstract or Photoshopped flowers; there is a group for that. Realistic flower photos only.

8. Please don't post flowers with effects: Don't post flowers that you've Photoshopped into patterns, multiples, put frames around, etc. Let the flower be enough! Large signatures, copyright notices, frames, etc., ruin the natural beauty!

9. No parks, ponds, pergolas, gazebos, etc. FLOWERS!

10. No people in the shot, or animals, etc.

11. If you're shooting a field of flowers but you have buildings or cars or a forest in the background your shot will be rejected. Instead crop to show the flowers, not the landscape.

12. No black and white flower shots! Flowers are colorful!

That’s it, and you’ll really enjoy the fact that you do not have to make forced awards or comments. Let your comments be genuine, your praise be true.

Enjoy looking at…Flowers, Glorious Flowers!
