Group DescriptionFor anyone who makes puppets to share techniques, so images that show how things are done are what's useful. This is about showing what you do to make them, in case it helps anyone else.
This group is not really for finished puppets or puppet shows as these have groups already, but its OK to include if it shows how a puppet works, or is illustrating the end result of a puppet-making technique.
It is not too important about what type of puppets you make. They can also be puppets for live performance like glove, shadow, rod or costume-based (e.g. pantomime horses or even ventriloquist dummies, but equally could be for film so armature puppets for stop motion, animatronics, etc are all OK.
Group RulesHello puppet makers
This group is about showing how your puppets were made so other people who make puppets can get ideas.
If you have made a puppet and have pictures of how it was done, please share for anyone who might find them useful.
Any shots of the construction of puppets are welcome, especially series of shots showing the steps involved and the techniques and/or materials used.
Shots of finished puppets are OK, but really this group is about how they got made, so please also include some shots of it being created.
Comments are most welcome. Please keep all comments and discussion positive and constructive.
Please - no shots of commercially made puppet products (although shots of the manufacturing process would be OK!)
Thanks for sharing
