We'll feature some of our favourite portfolios and pictures from the group on guardian.co.uk and maybe in other formats, e.g. our newspapers. By posting your pictures here you a) acknowledge that you have created the pictures or have permission to do so; and b) grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to publish your pictures as described. Copyright resides with you and you may reuse your pictures however you wish. You will be credited and paid if we make other uses of your pictures.

Group Description

Every year half a million people join the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch, some of whom last year also submitted over 1,000 brilliant photos to our birdwatch 2009 Flickr group.

This year people around the UK will count birds in their gardens for an hour during the weekend of 30-31 January 2010. You can find out more about taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch on the RSPB's site.

While you are participating, add photos of UK garden birds to this group - we'll then run a gallery of our 10 favourite pictures, followed by a poll asking Guardian web visitors to vote for their favourite.

** PLEASE NOTE WE WILL CLOSE ENTRIES TO THIS GROUP MIDDAY (GMT) ON MONDAY 8TH FEBRUARY**

As specified above we'll feature some of our favourites on guardian.co.uk and maybe in the newspaper version of the Guardian as well. By posting your pictures in this group you agree to let this happen (though copyright remains with you at all times).
