Same-sex hand holding (sshh): our silent revolution

The idea is simple: to promote love and equality through the simple act of holding hands.

You know the amazing feeling you get when you see 2 guys or 2 girls holding hands? Imagine if we saw and felt that magic everyday. This campaign aims to ENCOURAGE and SUPPORT same-sex couples who want to hold their partner's hand in public. Could you do the same?

Right now, we need you to:

Photographs should clearly show you holding hands. And since it's a public hand holding campaign an' all, the more people in the background the better. Faces are better than backs.

2) (If you're straight) Pledge to hold someone's hand of the same gender for a period of time (even if it's one minute) and tell us how it made you feel.

We encourage you to find security in crowds, safety in daylight hours, in places where you feel grounded and whenever you can, hold hands, for the love of love, hold hands. After a while at it, your fears can melt away. Some people have even reported it feels like flying.

PLEASE NOTE- YOUR PHOTOS WILL NOT BE SOLD TO THIRD PARTIES, BUT MAYBE USED TO PROMOTE THE DAY. WE ARE ALSO TRYING TO SET UP GALLERY SPACE FOR PICTURES SUBMITTED.
