This challenge is for a photo of ...Rover P4

Please see link below for further details...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rover_P4

It is not necessary for the whole car to be in the photo, but the car must be easily recognised as the make/model in the challenge.

Rover 75

GOOD LUCK!

(ADMIN) Now there's an unexpected entry from left field! JET1, the rear-engined gas turbine prototype from the early 1950s (a replica?).

I like the old Cyclops, i've never seen one in red before. There's nothing really around it to date the picture apart from it being in colour..

Just the rust and the work thats going to be involved in getting that back to any kind of roadworthiness. Whoever is taking that on is a hero...

Purely for the rarity value, that must be like the Holy Grail to P4 enthusiasts

...and the winner is...

Rover 105S motifs

At first glance it just looks like a 'badge shot' but when you look closely there's
quite a bit of thought gone in to it. The crop is almost perfectly symetrical, it almost
looks mono. But its the sharpness and the detail that makes the shot. You can see
every scratch and flaw that time has inflicted on that little area. Thats what makes
it a winning picture for me...

Cheers

Oh darn - I thought mine was going to win. Oh, wait a minute - I didn't enter because I didn't have one single Rover image in my photostream!

Congratulations to all those in the top 4, and a special thanks to everybody who simply entered for "the fun of it", providing the rest of us with a superb dose of nostalgia.
