Aviary leaves a lot to be desired from the previous picnik application that was linked into flickr.

It is truly a disappointment that flickr would partner with a software that limited.

If you liked PICNIK, you will surly love, picmonkey.com. It is even better than Picnik, though they actually pointed picmonkey out as an alternative to easy and cool photo editing, while in its last days....and it requires no regestration and is.....free. Check it out.

I sometimes use aviary to crop or brighten some pictures I upload to flickr. But I have been using Picmonkey.com for more serious editing such as photos from negatives and to prepare slides for uploading to flickr.I store my edited pictures on a flash drive.

I've tried to add text to a few photo's, the preview is fine then I hit upload and the start of the text is gone. It's so bad that I have to find my photo on one of my external hard drives, add text in Photoshop first now and re-upload. Thanks for the massive headaches you've caused me. It used to work fine, what on earth happened
