@richdrogpa - Flickriver DOES NOT display your private content to the everyone. For users that don't login to Flickriver, it just displays public photos, same as Flickr. If you do login to Flickriver, you can only see your own private photos, and also photos your contact shared with you, but again, this only happens for you, when and if you login. So, Flickriver has exactly the same privacy options as flickr :)

I send out flickriver links whenever I want to show friends and family a set of photos. It's way better more convenient for casual viewers to scroll quickly down a large set of photos this way, as flickr.com can be a bit hard to navigate for non-users. Thank you so much for creating this app!

Flickriver is for me the real standard to use Flickr photos.
Very useful the "lens" to get immediately the pic at a greater view: the only thing I have observed, probably and antialias should be implemented...
But it is equally awesome.

This is because, when you try to add a comment, the little box for writing it appears in front of the photo, covering it!

But I noticed that You can easily add a comment, while observing the photo, simply alternatively clicking on the "comment" baloon button: the comment is not erased, so it can be restored easily each time.
The same works if you want to observe in large modality. :)

The keyboard shortcuts along with the ability to favorite from FR was inspired. Two ideas: add a keyboard shortcut to fav the current photo and as I'm using the keyboard shortcut to go through the photos in order, if you can preload in the sequence so it loads instantly when I hit the J key.

@cwaterjohn - sometimes Flickr api has a tiny hiccup and returns a bad result, which gets cached by Flickriver for a few hours, after that the problem usually resolves itself. Anyway, your stream should now be fixed :)

But... I have noticed that is not possible to look at the stream of some Flickr user via Flickriver: it seems they've not allowed Flickriver to show their pics.

This is an example:

One suggestion. Browsing groups is slightly different with flickriver compared to flickr native. Flickriver 'recent' seems to sort the photos according to their upload date, not the posted to group date (as flickr native does). Regularly checking groups lets me miss newly added but uploaded in the past photos.
Is it possible to mimic the flickr native method with added-to-group-date sort?

I've been using it almost exclusively to browse my contacts' photos and interact with them. The one thing that would make it perfect is more keyboard shortcuts.

c: To open the comment page for the current image
f: To fave the current image
l or z: To view larger when available
i: To toggle the more information box
b or g or s: Switch between black/white backgrounds.

But still, it's a great app, thanks for your efforts.

1 photos not on my Flicker site, photos from a web site that was taken down (these were probably links to the dead site),
2 other flickr photos where I left a note on the image,
3 Pictures other people have sent as comments to my pictures.

What is wrong?
