PHP Gallery for FlickrAn app by janten The PHP Gallery for Flickr allows you to present your photos on your own webpage. It will show every photo on a simple but beautiful site with a matching background. The Gallery also allows your visitors to add you photo page to their RSS reader or even subscribe to it in iPhoto so they always get your newest images automatically.
The PHP Gallery for Flickr can either show all your photos or just the ones with a special tag. It can show larger versions of your pictures in a lightbox and also displays some EXIF meta-data as well as the position where the photo was taken if it is geotagged. For an example see janten.com/photo. The download (containing a readme on how to install this on your websever) can be found at janten.com/downloads/Gallery.zip. Please make sure that you move the .htaccess to your webserver, too. Otherwise you will only be able to see the first picture. If you are unable to copy the file to your server create a new textfile with the content below, copy it to the server and then rename it to ".htaccess" (without quotes, of course). # BEGIN Recent flickr photos <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule [0-9]+ photo/?number=$0 [L] </IfModule> # END Recent flickr photos Comments on this applicationCharles Collier
