I had a go myself:

Not quite as pretty as yours, but it serves the same purpose. I didn't have a big microfibre cloth, so i lined the inside with the small cloth that came with the ipod.
The edges are a bit dodgy on mine, as I originally cut the hole too small, and its really damn difficult to shave off the edges.

Escalla, I don't have any problems with my ipod falling out of the book if that's what you mean. When I carry it around, it's closed and secured by the moleskine's elastic band.
