I had to edit this photo a bit to make it brighter, because of the difference in gamma on the iphone and windows computers. Unfortunate.

Gate detail

I didn't make this gate too fancy but I did cut a curve into the top of it. I used the same curve template as on the rafters but flipped upside down and mirrored on both ends of the gate, with another small curve joining them up.

The hedge

We just had this put in. These are 5' tall white cedar trees. It looks pretty flimsy now but it should be nice within a couple of years.
