Winter Tranquility 2

Winter Tranquility 2

This is 3 exposures blended together using my advanced Photoshop tonality control and multiple exposure blending techniques. I produced a video detailing these techniques, it's available here: homepage.mac.com/zackschnepf/photography/videos.html

This was probably the most transcendent moment of my life. I had just spent 4 days camping on the top of of this ridge in the Mount Hood National Forest. I hadn't seen a single person the whole time, and had a lot of time to think. I weathered 3 days of intense snow storms and very cold temperatures, but on my last day I woke to this awe inspiring scene. It was so peaceful, I could feel the tranquility flow through me. Every time I see this image I get a sense of how I felt that morning. For that reason, it is one of my favorites.

Enchanted Sky Fire (video announcement)

My Advanced Photoshop Tonality Control and Multiple Exposure Blending Video is now finally available.

This is the image I process during the 3 hour, 40 minute video. The goal of this video is to demonstrate how I take the 4 raw exposure files from pre-visualization to fully realized master file. You can see more info at: homepage.mac.com/zackschnepf/photography/videos.html

Planet Crimson

Planet Crimson

This is probably my favorite image so far from this trip. Sean Bagshaw and I spent a couple mornings in this area. The light was beautiful as it bathed the landscape. People may not believe me when I tell them there has been no saturation added, in fact I had to tone down the reds, because they were too intense after I added some contrast.

I am back in production on my advanced multiple exposure blending, advanced selection, and tonality control video, it's my top priority right now and I realistically expect to be done by the end of this month. Sorry for those who have been waiting. I'll announce it here when it's available for sale. This is 2 exposures blended with said techniques.
