It's Prime Time! :-) Shot with my new Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. You're not looking at my watch but a wall-clock ;)

I too have prime lens, a Pentax 50mm f1.7 that came with my MX,its nearly 30 years old but sure good quality even though its not designed for digital.

Dit is een heel mooie foto!!
En het toont inderdaad mooi de kwaliteiten van de lens.
Dat is voor mij mischien ook nog wel een goed idee. Ik gebruik nu een standaard Canon 28-80mm lens maar ben ook niet echt te speken over de scherpte.

congrats on your new lens.... yes good dof.. and if looked at for awhile the eyes can play tricks on you as well .. sorta an optical illusion .. good job

That is freaky depth of field, no doubt. I can't wait to get a similar lens for my Nikon and really have some DOF fun.
For this shot though, I'm having a hard time with the composition. The lead lines aren't there, and there's no real focal point - only "Prime Time".
I can't wait to see some of you other work with this new toy!
