New Dawn Poster

Contest entry for PSDTUT.

I love when contests allow the artist to expand upon the limitations he is given (contradictory much?). Here, I was given the title, tagline of the movie as well as the general scene of a city scape with some sort of apocalyptic nature.
I experimented with providing the audience with an alternative story to what is expected from "New Dawn", yet still keeping the ambiguity of the poster as not to give too much away.
My Interpretation: Following two characters, brother and sister, and their longing for affection as they attempt to make a difference in a world of destruction and chaos.

PS. I have a secret crush on Bridget Regan. Just don't tell anyone. :)
