The Golden Ratio (phi) is an irrational mathematical constant, approximately 1.6180339887 This ratio also goes by the Architectural names of Golden Section, Golden Rectangle and the Fibonacci Number. This ratio is discovered everywhere in nature... from the conical shape of a sea shell, to sunflowers, to the human face and even in classical Greek Architecture.
