Screen resolution ratios based on the Golden Ratio. The Golden Ratio (phi) is an irrational mathematical constant, approximately 1.6180339887 This ratio also goes by the Architectural names of Golden Section, Golden Rectangle and the Fibonacci Number. This ratio is discovered everywhere in nature... from the conical shape of a sea shell, to sunflowers, to the human face and even in classical Greek Architecture.
The ratio is shown as 1.6180339887
or as a numeric sequence of
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144.... and so on.
So in the image above, I needed to write down some image resolution numbers to help me when cropping some images to the perfect size. Like I did in the next image
