A while back I was speaking about Open Life, a closed world, not to be mistaken with OpenSim, the Apache of virtual worlds -- Apache is the reference web server --: it allows you to create your own micro-world AND connect it to all other micro-worlds and to OSGrid and to all non-closed worlds in general AND still be able to chat with your SL friends! :-)

Re: Transferring: The Condensation archipielago was created entirely by me (except some houses which were not transferred, and Arrabal which was built by Favio Piek), so it was easy to recreate in OpenSim. There's a program called Second Inventory that allows you to transfer stuff you have full perms over to other worlds.

I'm waiting for Favio to recreate Arrabal in OpenSim this weekend! :-)

P.S.: Oh, and there were quite a lot of objects which I could not transfer because they were no copy or no transfer -- I had a lot of fun and learnt a lot by creating equivalent objects :-) For example I built a very nice lamp to substitute one from Straylight (I made it in a completely different style). I plan to offer all the stuff I'm creating as full perm freebies to help the OpenSim community :-)

And I've looked at the SecondInventory program too already :-) But don't use it as I don't have that much objects I created myself. Not enough time lol.
