What is the connection between 3 celebrities, 35 corporations, 40
subsidiaries and more than 300 brands?
Global business interests make up a complex network of connections
between corporations from around the world.
Corporate Connection, intends to shed light on 'who owns what' in the
lobal marketplace and on the intricate nature of the world wide
"business" web.
the map in the background is for artistic reasons only. Please look at the semi-interactive version (on the Google Maps engine) for the clean background version.
Corporate Connection was created as a college project in 2003, so surely things have changed!!
No time to create a new map, but I am interested. Also, this map is under a Creative Commons license so you can start your own and use some of the information here...

Why do you put the world on the background, when clearly these are just American corporations, or at least the ones that import into America too.

@dito74: He says right in the description, "PS the map in the background is for artistic reasons only"

Anyone know of a diagram that shows who owns war profiteers Haliburton, Blackwater, KBR etc. ?
Are they somehow just fronts for the previous generation of war profiteers, GE, Hughes, ect.?
