Behind the brush..
I went to the Dallas Arboretum this morning to practice my landscape shots. I was tempted to do macros but I stopped myself from taking out the macro lens. My goal was to simply use the wide angle lens and that was it. I did take a lot of shots and I am not exactly sure what I have until I at them closely. Here is the first one that stood out for me. I have been to this place 3 times so far this year. After some exploring, I stumbled upon this location. I was surprised that no one was there but as soon as I got there I found out why. It was soaked and muddy. It took me awhile to get in and get out, but here it is. Thanks for stopping by.

A simple shot from yesterday morning. There wasn't much going on because of the lighting/weather. I did bump into a couple of photographers and we chatted for awhile. That was fun.

Change of scenery...
I am trying out new locations since I have done the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens to death. I went to the Dallas Arboretum this morning to check it out by myself. It was a cloudy day unfortunately but for some reason there was a lot of people at 9:30AM on a Saturday. It took me awhile to get this spot to myself. I was going to try multiple exposure for a possible HDR try but people just kept on coming. Perhaps another time. Again, thanks for stopping by.

One more bloom before winter...
We were at my in-laws this afternoon and they had this rose blooming and it is a cool night tonight. It's time to sleep.

cool morning dew...
Just playing around with macros yesterday morning. Not sure what to think of this and debated whether or not to post it but I guess I made my decision. Hope everyone has a good week.
