Near Ittoqqortoormiit, East Greenland.
The Danish name of the town is Scoresbysund and the town is located on Liverpool Land (a peninsula in eastern Greenland).

Hi Zinni, last week i saw a very small part of Greenland when i was looking out of the window of the plane. It looked so white and so scary. Scary because it is fragile... Scary because it can easily kill you... I love it....

Danke für den Kommentar und sorry das du betroffen bist. Die Leute dort haben schon ein etwas anderes Leben im Vergleich zu Mitteleuropa, ist gibt fast nichts frisches zu Essen außer Fisch (das Versorgungsschiff kommt nur zweimal im Jahr, wenn man was vergisst muß man fast ein Jahr warten bis das nächste Schiff kommt und alles was per Hubschrauber kommt ist sehr teuer), etwas banales für uns wie eine Wasserspülung hat keiner, die meisten gehen in Gemeinschaftsduschen, 14-jährige tragen wegen den Eisbären bereits Waffen, im Winter ist es monatelang nur Dunkel, dafür im Sommer nur hell, die 650 Einwohner haben so gut wie keine Chance ihr Dorf zu verlassen, der nächste Ort ist 850 km weg und damit unerreichbar, zur Hauptstadt sind es 1.450 km, der Flug dorthin ist für die meisten nicht bezahlbar. Ich finde das die Einwohner dort schon etwas besonderes sind (und das nicht negativ gemeint).

Ich fande es deprimierend das in dem großen Supermarkt nur noch das war was keiner wollte und abgelaufen war, wenn das Schiff kommt ist er dann erst einmal wieder voller Waren mit langen Schlangen vor den Kassen. Verantwortlich ist Grönland selbst dafür, nur noch die Außen- und Verteidigungspolitik ist in dänischer Verantwortung seit 2009. Und da fehlt das Geld um die 500 Einwohner vernünftig zu versorgen (ein Schiff kann nur im kurzen Sommer anlegen, ansonsten sind die Anwohner von der Hubschrauberversorgung abhängig was natürlich sehr teuer ist).
