I was volunteering at a seminar. As usual seminar started with recitation of Holy Quran and followed by a short presentation.
It was interesting to hear people talk about what they think what islam's teachings are on topics such as women's rights, hijab or jihad.
It was a good opportunity to educate people what the ACTUAL teachings are versus what media is portraying.
