Jar of strawberry jam

For this jam I used 500g of strawberries, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 1/3 cup of lemon juice. As this was my first attempt at jam, I popped the mixture into my bread maker (rather than in a pot on the stove and checking the temperature). Seemed to work very successfully. Luckily I bought many more strawberries than required as my son kept himself busy eating handfuls of the berries!
