Public BFing ain't no big thing! :: Positivity Project Day 20

    Newer Older

Snapped this photo on our way to the car after my midwife appointment. *Someone* was feeling snacky!

Today's Positive? Being able to nurse Maddy in the carrier. It is seriously such a game-changer for me - I can go pretty much anywhere I want and know that I can feed my girl. Oh, and that Aviatrix hat Maddy's wearing? Probably 80% of it was knit while Maddy nursed in the carrier. (I'll try to get a better photo of it sometime.)

Wow, you are doing brilliantly. It took me 4 month before I nursed in public and even longer before I managed to nurse in a carrier. And yes it makes everything so much easier!
      Love the Aviatrix!

omg, how much do you love that pattern?! I just adore it so much, I am making mine's second and people would stop us constantly when she had hers on and just die over it.

Sweet hat! I used to BF Liam in his carrier walking down the street. It's awesome to feed a baby and walk at the same time!

Clever! I am so impressed by your ability to multitask.

it is SO great! I want to knit another one! But I think my girl needs mittens (she has none!) before she needs another hat :)

yep, I love being able to walk around while feeding here (this photo actually WAS taken while walking outside, though with it being winter and all, we probably won't go on too many walks outside in the near future)

my multitasking ability was born of necessity. I'd go bonkers if I couldn't do other things while taking care of my girl!

This is an inspiration! I never thought of it before but as soon as you mentioned it it seemed so logical. Boom!

      Baaaabies, I wants them.

It takes some jiggering (and I think it's probably easier for me than for a lot of ladies b/c I'm pretty small-busted even as a nursing mama), but yeah, it's so awesome. Just hook the kid on and walk around doing stuff. Whee!

While I've got some pounds on you I don't think most of them are in the bust-area, so I'm hopefully I'll still be good for it. Woo!
