The curtain of heavy clouds slowly drifted apart, the mountains took their places, poised and ready,
Confident. Grandiose. Magnific.

Slowly, unhurriedly, the stage began to light up.
A crescendo of light bursts through the sky
as a warming shower of sunlight follows, lavishing the silky lake
in a mesmerizing display of lights and shadows.

My sister and I decided to make Clementine candles this year, using left over vegetable oil as fuel. Not only did it smell great, it really lighted up our holidays!

Summer Days - A couple enjoying the unseasonably hot and sunny weather in the Peak District, perhaps Summer was not yet ready to give up it's magic this year.

Savigny, Switzerland - I often visit my aunt and uncle here over the holidays. Mainly dominated by fields of farmland and forests, the landscape changes drastically over each season. If I'm lucky enough to visit them again over all four seasons this year, I'll continue with the other 3 panoramas.
