This image was processed in Camera Raw 7. In CR6 the front panel had Temperature, Tint, Exposure, Recovery, Fill Light, Blacks, Brightness, Contrast, Clarity, Vibrance and Saturation. The new panel goes like this;
Temperature, Tint, Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites,
Blacks, Clarity, Vibrance and Saturation. New algorithms have been
written for these and are much improved especially the Highlights and
Shadows adjustments. They work much better than Recovery and Fill
light. So for this image I adjusted the Highlights, Shadows, Blacks,
Clarity, Vibrance an Saturation in Camera Raw 7. Then opened it in CS6
and at 145% I reduced any noise on the individual Channels. I then
added some Smart Sharpen. I really like the look of the color in the
images I have worked on so far, It seems just that much better to me.
There is now perspective cropping, When you have a selection that is
not the whole screed it shows you in centimeters etc. exactly where in
the image it is. A cool new feature in the brush tool that more
accurately represents the exact size and feathering of your brush.
Also it's 3D capabilities have been much improved.
More later folks!
