Trying to tweak portraits for online display, while maintaining a certain degree of anonymity. I've worked with different colour-balances on different parts of the picture to get both a "gritty" feeling to the background and a degree of detail to the face area after I posterized the image to simplify the recognizable curves and lines of the face. Taken at an slightly upwards angle to display the face at an unusual angle together with flash to "whitealize".
Practicing taking pictures of people in motion, in this case represented by my friend loading up his truck. I've tried to show how this is a man focused on his work, not the photographer along with a sense of tasks by showing an empty truck with the motherload still waiting to be brought onboard.
