So my flash arrived last night. We took my youngest son to use his Canon camera to take some photos and while we were at it do some test shots with the new flash. I have a lot to learn. This is not the best of them, but it is one I liked the best for personal reasons. I wish he would smile but this will do for now My older son is the poser in the family, but he's off to a church youth group weekend so he's out of pocket. Wes had a BLAST shooting macro all day. He's a lot of fun even if he hates posing for me.

My son is so thin it took a bunch of jumps until you couldn't see the light behind him glaring back at me. Kid got some bounce though doesn't he?! This was about 20 jumps into it, AND he was on his way down.

AB800 with 20 degree grid full power 4 inches directly below and slightly in front of an AB1600 3/4 power with 30 degree grid (the 800 aimed toward his feet and the ground, the 1600 aimed at his body/head area) both directly behind subject approx 8ft behind him (Im' a woman, me and distances aren't too good, so its a ballpark guess)

Buzz comes to Woody's rescue. Apparently a chocolate intervention is necessary.

Rich is going through the bills, maybe I should get him some heart meds!

I will revisit this particular scene from a different location so I can do some fun lighting, this one is pretty blah, but he looked funny so I figured I'd post it, today I'm in a rush so this will have to suffice.
