Jaso (ya-so) arrived from Nicaragua four days ago. He was a street dog. His new American parents were visiting Nicaragua on a veterinary mission to spay/neuter and treat dogs. Every day when they went for a run, Jaso would seek them out and trot alongside them. They fell in love with him and made arrangements to bring him home to Spokane. Jaso has never had a human to take care of him before. He's incredibly loving, special (look in those wise eyes), sweet and a little overwhelmed. I hope I see him again soon.
