New place, higher res (1600 x 1200)

Visible in the distance, all the way on First Avenue: NYU Hospital. Our daughter was born here.
Awesome building on Madison Avenue.
"The Future" on Third Avenue. Brutalist high-rise condo. Went up around 1999 and just lay there for a while. Now there are many new high-rise condos like this. Sad, really.
East River.
Kevin Cornell wallpaper (bearskinrug.co.uk).
256-color (AKA "web-safe-color") mousepad circa 2000 from R52.edu, RIP.
MIDI keyboard
New place, higher res (1600 x 1200) by Jeffrey.
First pic of new home of New York office of Happy Cog Studios - higher res than previous. (By default, iPhone mail uploads max out at 640 x 480.)

You should mark the buildings so us non-New York people know what they are.

Fun idea. I've marked a few that I know. Most of the buildings are not special (although the view of them all is wonderful).

Between this image and Google.maps I'm guessing 5th Ave near the high 20's. Gimme a bit more time and I'll pin point the building.

{edit} Is that "Awesome building" on Park Avenue South or Madison Avenue?

Nope. Another thousand KMS as the crow flies (give or take) east of Ottawa.

1) Google.maps
2) NYU hospital on 1rst
3) The Awesome building

4) Find NYU
5) Draw a line inland towards Madison about 15% to the left. It looks like NYU would be inline with 32. In the image it's a little off to the left (aprox 15%). Judging by the angle of NYU in the image I ball parked high 20's and then zeroed in on 28/29.
6) Bring up street view on google.maps and start looking for building with nice architecture on Madison somewhere between 28th and 30th like "the awesome building".

I figured you were about a block or so back from the awesome building. That would mean 28th between 5th and Madison? I've got an idea on the building but didn't want to post ; )

Hey Jeffrey, congrats!

However ... please tell me you're not at xx (edited by Paul and emailed to protect if it was necessary) Madison ave. I lived there for a year 07-08 (in one of the C line units), it's definitely an upscale place, but managed quite poorly - I can give you all the dirt if that's where you actually are.

At any rate you're on a high floor so noise will be negligible and you obviously have a nice view ;)

Have you been frequenting Les Halles on Park just north of 28th (or the nails place just south of it hehe)?

I'm still living in the city and working with the Swedes at Your Majesty (City Hall Park) - so if you feel like grabbing a beer sometime hit me up - it would be great to finally meet after our previous Reboot related communications ;)

Cheers,
Paul

Ah, you'll have to take a field trip sometime to over near 10th Avenue and 26th to my brother's studio or maybe to the gallery nearby that represents him. He'll have a solo exhibit in October, I think.
