The day ends over the ghost forest
I fled the oppressive sunnyness of the cities this weekend and their 80+ degree temperatures for the fog, clouds and mist of the coast. The ghost forest of Neskowin always captures my imagination, trying to imagine the forces that caused this phenomenon and to picture what these trees must have looked like. Despite the constant clinging fog, the day graced me with a nice sunset. The color never came on strong, nor did it last long, but it was beautiful all the same.
