Sean is one of those wonderful customers who I have more or less known since he really became "serious" about photography. He has been coming into Blue Moon for a couple of years now, since he started taking photography courses at the University of Portland. He just had a solo show of his work, it may or may not have been his first, sorry Sean I know I asked but I cannot quite remember. He even sold two pieces....to strangers, not just family. Which if that sounds silly, try showing photography in Portland, a city that has a national reputation for having a populace that really enjoys looking but rarely purchases. Anyway, it has been a real pleasure to have him as a customer and see him grow over the years and develop his own style.

Way to go Sean. Keep it up.

Another in my series of "Once in a Blue Moon". One day I'll do something with this, but for now I just keep taking them and posting them.

I do believe I took this with an Agfa Isolette III I was testing. At least I know I was shooting one at the time. It is amazing they can make a medium format camera that was so compact and portable. A pocket camera even! Then again, this also could have been Hasselblad, or even some other 120 camera that is slipping my mind... either way.

And for those starting to panic that Sean is a giant amongst men, this is not an actual Leica M3 in his hands, but rather the miniature replica made by Minox. We just got a couple in to the store, though I think now we are down to just one. Funny little cameras.
