Cats & Colisseum

I would crop here. Makes the cats look bigger.
Cats & Colisseum by Zeb Andrews.
It's not hard to find cats in Rome. I was fortunate though to find these two cats as I came out of the Colisseum's gift shop.

These two cats are in such delightful contrast to the grandiose, dramatic architecture ~ wonderful.

Kind of demystifies the ancient architecture in a really good way.

Yes, I agree with Tarkeena - wonderful composition. The cats add heaps to an already nice shot, with the light.

Wow... how did I miss this one? Beautiful! And I have to agree with MarvinOS about the crop. The thumbnail crop drew my attention to begin with, but then I'm partial to square format images as it is!

wonderful pic. beautiful quality, dense atmosphere.
it makes me think about this little "miracle": the roman riunis are still alive because there's someone still living in them and still using them.

I like the crop as you did it.
I like the smallness of the cats in the largeness of the colisseum.
lovely!
