The moment of doubt by Julius Koivistoinen

The moment of doubt

Yipes! At last I took the plunge and got myself the camera of my dreams. For ages I've been drooling after the Canon's 5D and especially now when I've been using it constantly at work I kinda felt the same thing with it as many people do with L lenses. Once you try them you can't go back. :)

This photo is taken during my quick test run on the streets of Helsinki. So far I'm definitely satisfied!

My dearest enemy by Julius Koivistoinen

My dearest enemy

This is not a double exposure.

And the weather was not as warm as it looks from the photo either - not at all! This is taken during early spring (read: in Finland) so we were freezing out there!

This photo is one of my preliminary assignments for further education on photography. The theme was: "The people of today".

Strobist info / Lighting
(Camera on tripod)
-430EX w/ CTO through a white brolly triggered manually by me twice during the exposure
-Snooted 430EX with an optical slave unit behind the model for rim light (this strobe unit flashed twice too)
