      A: What works for me is the colorful shot. I like also the stream visible.

      B: What doesn't work so well for me is the clouds, I don't understand if it's actually a reflection the clouds themselves.
      C:This is a suggestion : probably changing the view angle.

      I don't really know what is that greenish color as your said it's a lake. could you go in the water, well it's probably very cold...

      It's an aerial shot taken from a small plane. It's a direct view on the isle from above. Except of the isle it's all water. (:
      The clouds you see are only reflections in the water. The lake is not very deep - around 4 meters if I remember right.
