Lightning in Boston Harbor

A storm rolled in over Boston and out to sea. We were still about 15 - 20 miles out and sailing back into harbor trying to dodge it. (Which, thankfully, we did!)

Thanks! The storm was quite beautiful to watch as it rolled over the ocean from Boston. The brunt of it hit north of us, as you can see from the photograph. I just perched by the gunwales and waited for a flash of lightning to strike, and luckily enough I was quick on the shutter release.
