A Peek Inside My Travel NotebookFlight info. Ticket price so I can look it up years from now. I draw a calendar of the weeks in question so I have a handy place to look up dates. Hotel info (Claska), including a map I copied from their website. Address of where I had a photo shoot. Directions to the Hayao Miyazaki museum. Exchange rate at the time (again, for future reference). Met my cousin in Tokyo. You don't need to write down that number as it was a rental phone. :P Little icon of an airplane indicating that I skip a day flying east!
![]() I may love gadgets and toys and all things electronic, but when it comes to the info I need for travel, I'm decidedly low-tech. On all my trips, I carry a Moleskine ruled notebook where I keep a daily diary of my travel adventures. Before going on the trip, I would write down information on all the places I need to see, confirmation numbers, hotel reservations, car rental, flights, etc, basically whatever I think I may need handy. This is a shot of the 1st two pages from my Tokyo trip in April.
