Feigum (or Feigom). The photo was made across the 3 km wide Sognefjord, while I was half way between Skjolden and Sogndal.
Sognefjord is the longest fjord in Norway, this place is almost 200 km from open sea. The summer is therefore almost as sunny and dry as in the inland, but cold rivers draining the mountains and glaciers cool the fjord and reduce summer temperatures slightly. The Gulf Stream is also 200 km away, but the deep and wide fjord ensures that the winters do not get too cold.
The waterfall is Feigumfossen, named after the village Feigum. The free fall is 218 m.
I have marked may standing point on the map. For the video below I have marked the position of Feigum .
An older name of the fall is Feigefossen, and by searching for that name I found a picture taken from closer distance and with more water:www.flickr.com/photos/tronella/750581939/
