I went to Chicago again.
I need to move there, pronto.
It made me feel, so alive.
So many people moving about their day, not caring.
Stopping in an indie music store and listening to people's stories.
The hole-in-the-wall eatery trying to make a dollar.
Sure, I can get those things here. But it's all so new there, like everyone's waiting for someone to change the world.
I can't tell you why I'm so drawn there. I just am.
Among the cigarette smoke and beeping cars, there's an understanding between the el train riders.
An understanding between the homeless man and a teenage stoner.
Between skyscrapers and skies.
Land and sea.
Death and life.

One: I recently got my haircut. I love it.
Two: This week has been very stressful for me.
Three: I can't WAIT for Sunday. Not only for the superbowl, but also for GLEE!
Four: My school is doing a production of Rent next year. I'm auditioning.
Five: I miss working.
Six: I was recently elected to student senate, so I guess I kind of do have a job..
Seven: I'm actually excited for it to be 30 degrees tomorrow.
Eight: My favorite color is blue.
Nine: I can't wait for summer.
Ten: I've recently been obsessed with Mumford and Sons. What a great band.
Eleven: My favorite place in the world is my bed.
Twelve: I'm really tired right now.
Thirteen: I (try to) play ultimate frisbee.
Fourteen: My birthday falls over my spring break this year. :D
