I made this cup of coffee and it danced for me

I made this for hubby, who stayed up with me to watch the lunar eclipse. It was made with love and I ground the beans by hand. My reward was this beautiful dance.

Excellent - I like the way you caught the steam here - something I think of doing each time I see it off a cup of tea - but I always forget again.

      Thank you.

@ benefit of hindsight, I shall look forward to the day you remember. :-)

You ground the beans by hands? Dang.... Your hubby is the luckiest guy on earth. That is a great coffee shot by the way. I love the dancing steam.

@ benefit of hindsight, it's true.

@ inkyfingerz, well I'm the lucky one to have a hubby who'll stay up to watch the moon, and I have got a little coffee mill, but it is hand turned, not electric.

I can almost see what you mean. I can actually see a monkey playing a flute. Does that make us weird?

As for stomach lining. What stomach lining?

      A nice photo!

I made a coffea special on my blog with good photos using creative commons from Flickr. I included this one:

I think your photo was the best. I like the sun, the colors and the "smoke".

Good luck with your photo work!

Cool picture! Thank you for sharing.

    41. Lynne Hand (64 months ago | reply)

Thanks all. The steam was just a fluke, helped by the fact that I don't dust often enough. :-p

    42. jontangerine (62 months ago | reply)

It really did dance. Great shot.

    43. Lynne Hand (62 months ago | reply)

      Thank you.

The only thing it really shows is that I should dust more. ;-)
