The city of Hastings, Neb., received a huge boost in its efforts to promote earth-friendly projects when Yahoo representatives presented the city a check for $250,000 Monday, June 25, 2007, in recognition of being named "Greenest City in America." Accepting the award from Yahoo representative Heidi Burgett was Hastings' mayor Matt Rossen, as well as Nebraska's Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy.
