Cabrini-Green, Chicago

The Cabrini-Green neighborhood takes its name from a notorious Chicago Housing Authority project which has been undergoing demolition during the past several years.

The neighborhood, on Chicago's near north side, spans the area from Chicago Ave (800 N) north to Evergreen Ave (1332 N), and from Sedgwick St (400 W) west to Halsted St (800 W).

A variety of new construction projects, parks and retail development have recently made dramatic changes in the area.
