Desktop Tower Defense
Am thinking of another strategy for Desktop Tower Defense, how about building and selling top and bottom units recursively to induce a loop? Let me know if it works.

selling the bottom unit will cause the creep to U-turn, plug it up just before it gets through. Doing this 2-3 times to prolong time BOSS spends in your daisy chain. but make sure you have spare gold to do this!!! else you'll have a gapping hole and shortcut for the creeps.
2 levels before FLYING, make sure you have upgraded pellets and squirts in the middle of the map.
now stuck at level 36(?) of normal. figure out new strategy let me know.
