it IS the same place bourdain visited on the shanghai episode. even though it is a very famous restaurant and the wait to get in is insane, the xlb here are not that great. bourdain seemed to really like em though, but there are better in asia.

there is no meat inside this giant one, just soup and crab bits and roe. it was good, mostly hot and savory and crabby, but i think the novelty of it plays a bigger factor in the popularity of it than the actual taste. caution is right; burned the s*** out of my mouth.
