The Spider Lily is native to South-East-Asia. The root is used as a poultice to treat wounds while the poisonous juice acts as a purgative.

Lunas, Kedah <IMG_0587>

Lunas is a small one-street town near to Kulim in the state of Kedah.

Nevertheless, there are as many cars as there are people. It is just a short distance away from the Highway. The bicycle is probably used by the sundry shop's owner to deliver his customer's orders.

Flowers throughout the year. There are 60 species with the native origin from tropical Africa but the widely planted ones are from the Philippines.

Moon over the rainbow <IMG_0515>

The rainbow is formed when sun light is refracted off the water droplets in the sky.

The moon should not appear at this time as the sky would be cloudy. It is a composite photo, the moon was added to the main photo.
